Participant Guidelines
1. Respect Every Voice
We welcome stories from all walks of life—but we do not allow content that attacks or discriminates against others based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition.
2. Consent is Essential
Everyone whose voice appears in a recording must give informed permission to be recorded and included in this project.
3. No Bullying or Harassment
This is a space for open, honest storytelling—not a platform for personal attacks, harassment, or the spread of harmful rhetoric.
4. Keep It Real, Keep It Kind
We value authenticity and vulnerability. Please share your story truthfully and consider how it may impact others who hear it.
5. Avoid Graphic Content
Please refrain from sharing stories with excessively graphic violence, sexual content, or disturbing material. If in doubt, reach out to our team first.
6. Privacy Matters
Do not share full names, addresses, or other sensitive personal information about others unless they’ve consented.
7. We’re Building Community
This project is about connection. Share stories that help us understand, celebrate, and reflect on life here on the Eastern Shore.
