Downtown Live is an Arts, Business & Culture Department initiative focused on bringing more live music and performance to Downtown Salisbury throughout the year. It builds on existing events while creating new opportunities for concerts, street performers, pop-up performances and other live entertainment.

3rd Friday is a monthly art and entertainment event held in Downtown Salisbury on the third Friday of each month from April to December. Each month features a unique theme, highlighting local artists, live music, street vendors, food trucks, and downtown shops. 3rd Friday creates an engaging, family-friendly atmosphere that supports local businesses and fosters community connections.
The Downtown Salisbury Concert Series is a free, outdoor summer concert series presented by Downtown Live. Taking place during the summer months, this event features live performances by regional and local bands across various music genres. The series offers food vendors, beverages, and a lively atmosphere for residents and visitors to enjoy, all while supporting the downtown economy.
Hops on the River, the highly anticipated craft beer tasting event returns Saturday, April 25 (2:00-5:00pm), in Downtown Salisbury between Unity Square and the Games Park. Purchased tasting tickets include admission to the event, an exclusive Hops on the River tasting glass, and unlimited samples of craft beer, hard seltzers, and teas throughout the event hours. Plus, live music by Muskrat Lightning, craft vendors, games, and food for purchase from Big Bad Wolf Bacon, LeDaisey's Smokehouse, and Mad Hatter Café. Buy tickets here.
Salisbury's New Year's Eve Ball Drop is the City's annual end-of-year celebration held downtown. The event features live entertainment, food trucks, beer and wine vendors, and family-friendly activities. The highlight is the iconic ball drop at midnight, followed by fireworks to welcome the new year. The event draws thousands of attendees and is one of the largest public gatherings in the area to close out the year.
